Known for blending traditional Jewish themes with Reggae, rock and hip hop sounds, Matisyahu is most recognizable for being an American Hasidic Jewish Reggae musician and for his single " King Without a Crown ", which was a Top 40 hit! He most recently released a new album called ' Light ' and performed on NBC's Tonight Show. " On Matisyahu's third studio disc, Light, the world's dopest Hasidic Jew supplements his first love, roots reggae, with rock riffs, pop hooks, and rap-wise beats.
