Known for blending traditional Jewish themes with Reggae, rock and hip hop sounds, Matisyahu is most recognizable for being an American Hasidic Jewish Reggae musician and for his single " King Without a Crown ", which was a Top 40 hit! He most recently released a new album called ' Light ' and performed on NBC's Tonight Show. " On Matisyahu's third studio disc, Light, the world's dopest Hasidic Jew supplements his first love, roots reggae, with rock riffs, pop hooks, and rap-wise beats. His lyrics are straight out of Trenchtown, all "peace of mind" ('Smash Lies') and "no more war ('One Day') " - MAXIM
" One of the year's top reggae artists! " - BILLBOARD
" On his new album 'Light,' he blends beats a Rasta can skank to with universal lyrics centered on morality and the desire for peace. " - NY POST Direct any media inquiries for the concert to Executive Producer Derek Hoffman: derek@wallstcheatsheet.com Myspace Page
