The Asheville Gallery of Art’s featured artist for April will be Lorraine Plaxico. An opening reception for the artist will be held on Friday, April 2 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The public is cordially invited.

The exhibit, “Chasing the Light”, will feature pastel landscapes. Lorraine’s drawings have the immediacy and movement that come from drawing outdoors (“in plein air”). The show will be on display through Friday, April 30.
