Master Singers of Virginia Winter Concert-Shakespeare of Today at Our Savior's Way Lutheran Church
In February of 2012, the Master Singers present Shakespeare of Today. This marvelous and diverse concert features new music by Estonian composer Rene Eespere and the greatest choral masterpiece by two wonderful composers, Jaakko Mantyjarvi's Canticum Calamitatis Maritimae and Benjamin Britten's Hymn to St. Cecilia. The ensemble will also sing a number of jazz-influenced settings of texts by William Shakespeare.
Optional pre-concert talk 45 minutes before the performance.
Admission Fee: $15 adults, $12 students/seniors. $2 more at the door.
