7th Annual Women's Arts Festival Opening Gala
This year's Gala will be held in and is a fundraiser for our local VFW Hall Post 1333. This year's entertainment will feature a recreation of a WWII USO show and feature Cheryl Parker and The Summer Swing Orchestra performing favorites of the era. Swing dancers to teach and demonstrate. Re-enactors; along with guest performers, will pepper the evening with entertainment and song. Throughout the evening we will be honoring several local women who served in the armed forces and nursing corps of that era. An old fashioned event just right for the whole family. Soft Drinks, Beer, Wine, and Food available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the Black Box Theatre and The VFW Hall.
