The Five Cities Dog Park Association will be hosting our 3rd Annual "Puttin' on the Dog" event on Saturday, August 18, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Puttin' on the Dog is our major fundraiser to support the dog park and we encourage all of our members to attend and to invite your friends and family to join us again this year. As in the past, we will have doggie contests and demonstrations, a pooch parade, food vendors, pet related vendors and services such as nail trimming, a BBQ and a raffle. New this year, we are planning activities aimed at families, including an obstacle/agility course that anyone can try out with their pooch and a "bark off" contest for individuals, families and dogs. Please save the date on your calendar today and watch for details via our email list, website, and notices posted in the dog park. Our committee is currently contacting local businesses to help sponsor and support the event, but we could always use more help.
