Women & Wine - Summer Chilled Wines

Hey Ladies it's time again for another Women & Wine event. This time Lisa W is hosting at her place in Palatine. Sorry guys this one is for the ladies only. This time we are trying Summer chilled wines! It's not officially summer, but it's starting to warm up across the country. Which can only mean one thing - break out the tank tops, shorts, BBQ grills, a couple of beers and of course some wine to relax with in the backyard. Whether your remedy to beat the heat is a cool pool, a shade tree, or a blasting air conditioner, it always helps to have a relaxing beverage to help ease the pain. On a hot summer evening, I look for a chilled light wine so this tasting will be the chilled types. Suggested types: Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Vigioner, rose or any kind of sparkling wines. We are trying something a little different this time. First find your Summer chilled wine. Then prepare an appetizer to compliment your wine. If you want to bring cheese and crackers or fruit and chocolate that is up to you. So when you find your wine send me the wine info and the type of appetizer that you will bring and I will send you directions to Lisa's place. Hope you can join us!
