Join the crazy and the brave at Martha Lake Park on New Year's Day for a Polar Bear Swim. Whether you come participate or just to watch, this should be a fine way to shake off the cobwebs of the night before. This event is hosted by Snohomish County Parks and Recreation. Join the crazy and the brave at Martha Lake Park on New Year's Day for a Polar Bear Swim. Whether you come participate or just to watch, this should be a fine way to shake off the cobwebs of the night before. This event is hosted by Snohomish County Parks and Recreation. It is a fundraiser for NW Harvest; please bring a non-perishable food item for the food drive. We will meet at 12:30 in the park (I'll have a sign). The swim is at 1pm. After the plunge, and a refreshing hot drink, the group will head off for lunch at a nearby casual restaurant (to be decided by the group).
