The annual Holiday Boat Parade is a weekend of parades that begins in Alexandria, Virginia and ends at the Washington Harbour in Georgetown. Region: Northern Virginia Locality: Alexandria City Alexandria's Historic Waterfront 1 Cameron Street Alexandria, VA 22314 Alexandria's harbor lights up for the annual parade. Boats are beautifully and imaginatively decorated by their owners, who are competing for great prizes. These sailing and power boats cruise the city's historic waterfront on the Potomac River.
