Hoop Dance Yoga™ Holistic Conditioning Series with Jocelyn Nine weeks * Thursdays * 6:30 - 7:45pm September 24 - November 19, 2009 BYO Yoga Mat and Hoop a limited amount will be available for use and purchase This series will offer the same fun and fitness benefit of the Hoopnotica Workout Series (burn 600 calories an hour) plus so much more... We'll use the hoop as a prop to increase range of motion in the spine and to facilitate deep stretches and opening in the body. We'll hoop while exploring asanas (yoga postures) and develop balance and grace in the process. We'll learn how to breathe properly and fully thus aiding in stress management. We'll flow with the hoop as our dance partner and learn to trust our instincts. If this is too esoteric for you, trust that you'll move your body, sweat like crazy, strengthen your core, burn lots of calories, experience calm and ease, and move with more grace and freedom in your hoop dance (and life!).
