Happy Hour - $5 fundraiser for Arl. County foster kids

Happy hours are always fun, and this one will more meaningful than most because we'll be accepting donations for Arlington County foster kids. A social worker from Arlington County will be present to explain what kinds of children they help and what the children need. We collected money for these kids in August for school supplies. We heard back that "One little six-year old boy cried with happiness when he got his Spiderman book bag." I would love for our generosity to move more children to happy tears! As a group, we're generally gifted with good health, families, and secure jobs. These children are in foster care or lack both foster and birth parents. They deserve a wonderful Christmas and we can help make that happen. $5 (or more) from each of us is something we won't miss; a Christmas gift is something they shouldn't miss. If you'd like to continue on for dinner at Guapo's at 7:30, sign up separately for that.
