Craft - Make Your Own Pagan Rosary

Pagans and rosaries...what is the deal? Well, even if witches tend to cast spells as an active influence, prayer is still a valid passive route. A rosary is a set of prayer beads, sometimes created in a way that can be worn. Regardless if meant to be carried or worn, the pattern of these prayer beads is deliberate. The purpose is to use the beads to count prayers. Pagan prayer beads are made with patterns similar to 3 bead sets (maiden, mother, crone), four bead sets (the four elements), five bead sets (four elements plus spirit), nine bead sets (three times three), 13 bead sets (the number of full moons in a year), and so on. Join us as we work with different kinds of materials to make our own rosaries. We will have string/wire, beads, clasps, and charms. If you have specific stones or beads that you would like to use, I encourage you to bring your own.
