Nov 7th - Using Food to Heal Meetup - At Panera Bread Arlington

Hi, I'm going to run a meeting on Saturday morning, Nov 7th, at 10AM Panera Bread is located on the bus line 77/78 + others(Mass Ave) at the "end of the line". Just take the bus all the way. Plenty of parking (lot in back) and on the street. There is also a post office, Lakota Bakery (best butter cookies around) and a couple of Thai places if you want to plan the rest of your afternoon. I will be presenting several papers published in the Weston Price Journal. I will be handing out articles on cod liver oil (and I have samples of the fermented kind. See Greenpasteurs.com). I will discuss vitamin A and D (a hormone) and why vegetable sources are not always the best. I will be handing out articles on zinc/copper/magnesium balance, the ways we mess it up, and how to return to health using Chinese medicine. I will bring some samples of various coconut oils and discuss why these are great additions to your diet. Also, I will discuss bone broth (how to make and where to get it). I will also present the history of soy and some things to consider (it is also a hormone) when you add it to your diet. Oh, one last sample! I have an interesting pro-biotic drink that is made is Australia. It is a fermented wheat product and is an interesting way to get probiotics if you can't eat kefir or yoghurt. Hope to see you there.
