Two one-act plays, MOUNTAIN LANGUAGE by Harold Pinter and HOLY DAYS by Sally Nemeth, will be presented in the UTA Studio Theatre. MOUNTAIN LANGUAGE is directed by Associate Professor and Guest Director Dr. Bill Gelber of Texas Tech University. MOUNTAIN LANGUAGE is set in an unidentified country where two women visit a prison to see their loved ones--but must deal with the fact that their native language is forbidden. HOLY DAYS is directed by Senior Lecturer Dr. Brandi Andrade of UT Arlington. HOLY DAYS is about a family engulfed by the Dust Bowl and who must bury their past over an Easter weekend. FREE ADMISSION, NO RESERVATIONS, FIRST COME-FIRST SEATED, SEATING IS LIMITED. (Theatre opens for seating 30 minutes before performance time.) Recommended for adult audiences only.
