Description
Dr. Pamela Jansma will discuss her research on microplate tectonics, strain partitioning and using the global positioning system to measure plate motions. She became dean of the College of Science in August and was previously dean of New Mexico State University's College of Arts and Sciences. She plans to teach and work as an active researcher and scientist in addition to her administrative duties. Phi Kappa Phi is co-sponsoring this event.
