Dallas Margarita Ball - Biggest Gala Event!!

IMPORTANT!! PLEASE READ!!! DO NOT volunteer for this event unless you will be able to attend!! The charity is really counting on us for help and you will be assigned a specific task so you showing up and on time is critical to them. On Saturday, November 21, 2009, the 33rd Anniversary Dallas Margarita Charity Ball sponsored by the Dallas Margarita Society, Inc. will rock Dallas. This Charity Ball is the largest annual invitation only gala in the United States! About 9,000 - 10,000 people attend this event and three floors of the hotel are used. Almost $1 million was raised for this wonderful cause last year. Guests must have an invitation to enter and are requested to donate one toy. ATTIRE: Black Tie Event - Tuxedo for men; Gowns for women WHAT TO BRING: Unwrapped toy valued at $35 or more for children 8-12 years of age or money for a gift certificate, and a proper photo identification. Toys collected will be distributed at the Love For Kid's Children's Christmas Party on December 12, 2009. Please save the date. ENTERTAINMENT: Sounds of Saul Hewitt Band, Dazzling Casino, Raffle, World Class Silent Auction, Live From Las Vegas -DJ Presto One, Sexy Smooth Jazz tunes of the David Carr, Jr Band, and of course, their signature Margarita Fountains! Cash bars will be available on all three floors. Midnight breakfast buffet will also be available for a fee. Snacks and beverages will be provided for the volunteers only. Volunteers are needed for the following shifts: a) 9:30 pm- 11:30 pm b) midnight - 1:00 am Shift Assignments will be greeters, invitation takers, hand stampers, casino cashiers, gift certificates, coat checkers, and other alternate positions. All assignments will be on a first-reply basis.
