She's Back! Sultry songstress JUANITA returns from her musical hiatus and is back with a new cd! But, don't call it a comeback; she's been here for years. JUANITA has been involved in various aspects of the entertainment industry. Performing since the age of twelve, her repertoire includes dancing, modeling, and singing. But, after performing for several years, she decided to take a break from singing to pursue other endeavors. Alibi
The Alibi has been a popular local hangout since the early 1930's. Originally the business included a full service bar, a small restaurant and a piano lounge which was located in the back portion of the building. In the mid 40's there was a fire that destroyed the restaurant, which was never repaired. In 1976 Mardell Blickenstaff opened a new restaurant in the Alibi, that took off like wild fire. Mardell and Gary, her husband, purchased the entire business in 1984. October of 1998 Justin Ladd acquired the well loved business. At present there are plans to expand into the empty lot next door, hopefully the new business will be up and running by fall of 2004.
