One-day SCUBA charter to Catalina

(NOTE If this event fills up, please join the Wait List. I'll get in touch.) We'll depart Long Beach promptly at 7 a.m., and spend the day at various dive sites surrounding Catalina Island. We'll do three dives, and be back in Long Beach by about 6 p.m. The trip includes a hot breakfast and lunch, snacks and beverages throughout the day, a steel 85 tank, all your airfills, and all weights. Please board anytime after 6 am, or board on Friday night anytime after 8 pm and spend the night on the Sundiver, free of charge, and avoid that early-morning alarm clock. The boat sleeps 22 in a heated, comfortable bunk room. Very few people spend the night, so you should have plenty of room. Whether you're newly certified or very experienced, you're welcome to come. No buddy? Not a problem -- we'll set you up with a partner. There will be several very experienced divers on board (instructors and others) to help you if you're new, and we'll pick sites that cater to every level of diving. Join us! This trip is only for certified divers, or current students. If you're interested in getting your Advanced Open Water cert, we can begin your training on this trip as well. Just get in touch and we'll work out the details. The usual individual price for this trip is $135, but our special group rate is $125, which must be paid in advance, either through Paypal or directly by credit card over the phone (Call 626-447-5536 and mention you're from Meetup for the special rate). Please note -- you are not OFFICIALLY signed up for this event until you've paid for your space. Simply RSVP'ing yes does not guarantee you a spot, and since this trip will almost certainly fill up, you'll be turned away at the dock if you haven't already paid. Sorry, but departure-time payment isn't an option for this trip. Cancellation policy: You will receive a 50 percent refund if you cancel seven or more days prior to departure. Within seven days of departure, there is no refund. Thad said, however, I will make every effort to fill your spot, and if I am able to do so, you'll get a full refund. Hope to see you on board!
