Silent Film: The Farmer's Wife

Monday, December 7, 2009. 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. This romantic comedy tells the story of a lonely widower who decides to remarry. He pursues several local spinsters, who each reject his advances. However, his housekeeper is secretly in love with him. Eventually he comes to realize that the right woman was there on his doorstep all along. Frank Rippl performs live on The Museum's 1926 Austin Pipe Organ. This silent film is presented in partnership with the Packerland Theatre Organ Society and Wisconsin Public Radio. $7 per person, in advance or at the door.
