Dessert Bake-Off!!

Want to try a new dessert recipe out on friends before bringing it to your family or work holiday gathering? Have a special recipe you think is a winner? Now is the time to make it and bring it to our dessert bake-off contest! We will have three categories for entrees: 1. Cookies, Brownies & Bars 2. Cakes & Pies 3. Candies, Confections & Miscellaneous Desserts There will be first place prizes in each category. One or more non-members will be there to judge the dessert entrees. Judges will give points based on: overall appearance, overall taste, and creativity. Contestants can enter more than one dessert item! Once your entree has been judged the rest of it will be sampled by attending members. You do not need to enter this contest to attend - but please bring an appetizer or munchies to share if you are attending and not entering a dessert item. James is hosting - he will provide bottled water and soda. Note: directions and address will be e-mailed to RSVPing members two days prior to the start of this event. This will be fun and tasty event!! Feel free to bring a friend!
