Breathe the Sound is een Antwerpse band, belichaamt door 3 jonge en enthousiaste muzikanten, waarvan 2 broers. De band is ontstaan op 7 januari 2008 door splitsing van een voorgaande muziekgroep. Ze brengen lichte en gevarieerde popsongs met invloeden van o.a. the Kooks, the Dire Straits en Keane. Wat Breathe the Sound kenmerkt zijn vooral de naar z’n eigen hand gezette sologitaarlijnen van Xavier Gosselin (1989), de eenvoudige en gedragen piano(bas)lijnen van Pieter-Jan Nuytten (1990), de heldere zang van zijn broer Simon Nuytten (1992) en de tweestemmige zang van de twee broers samen.
