The Sunshine Boys (Nick Rodriguez, Antioch)

Over the course of the last four seasons, we have produced the work of more than a dozen different playwrights, including such luminaries as Arthur Miller, Eugene O'Neill, Stephen Sondheim and, of course, Kait Kerrigan. Interestingly, there is only one whose work we have produced twice. Now make that thrice. Time Magazine once wrote, "If Broadway ever erects a monument to a patron saint of laughter, Neil Simon would have to be it." For our third production of the season, we bring you Mr. Simon's tale of two former vaudevillians, who - though having been feuding for more than a decade - are convinced to reunite to perform their signature act one final time. A classic example of the playwright's ability to blend the joy of laughter and the love of life, we are thrilled to extend our Simon streak with The Sunshine Boys.
