Event details
Exhibit at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
Alexander G. Ruthven Museums Bld.
Description:
This exhibit reveals by means of leftovers some of the meal choices of the breeding pair of peregrine falcons who have returned to the top of Burton Tower every spring since March 2007. Peregrine falcons were placed on the U.S. endangered species list in the 1960s, but removed in 1999, thanks to the efforts of conservationists as well as the banning of harmful pesticides.
