Chesapeake Regional Tech Council's 8th Annual BBQ on the Bay Tech Expo
This premier tech event of the summer provides a forum for technology innovation and business connectivity, with more than 400 tech executives networking over beer, wine and great food on the beautiful shores of the Chesapeake Bay’s Bembe Beach. The BBQ will also double as the CRTC’s 20th Anniversary celebration, as the organization presents founder Steve Oxman with the Founder’s Award.
The theme of this year’s BBQ is "Technaritaville” – designed to take the edge off the suit and tie format of typical tech networking by creating an island oasis in the heart of Annapolis – so the dress code is casual and shorts are welcome.
Attendees will enjoy live music by Orlando Phillips, a full BBQ menu provided by Moveable Mixtures and more than twenty business expo displays highlighting some of the region’s top technology companies. Since parking is limited, attendees are encouraged to carpool, take e-cruiser shuttles available en route to the event and to consider coming by boat. Limited boat slips are available, and water taxis will also be available from the Annapolis City Dock.
