Description
Join members of VASMS, law enforcement personnel, attorneys, service providers, and victim's advocates at this exciting workshop geared toward helping identify victims and assist survivors of human trafficking! Attendees will leave with a greater understanding of cultural, social, and economic barriers that victims and providers face, increased knowledge and skills for overcoming those barriers and working effectively across cultures, enhanced awareness of the role of culture in the identification of and service to victims, and practical strategies for interviewing survivors.
