Let's take advantage of a paved trail today! The Mt. Vernon trail is fabulous and we can easily do a 10-miler without having to worry about treacherous pathways. We'll have a choice to go towards DC or towards Old Town Alexandria. We'll decide when we get there! I would suggest you bring: Water to carry with you on the trail Energy snack...I love the Cliff brand ones A can-do attitude...don't think about the distance, we are not running the whole time!
