Americas Best Idea - the national parks - gets even better this summer...its free The National Park Service announces three summer weekends when entrance fees to all 391 national parks will be waived. Were inviting you to come by for a visit, to relax, to learn a little bit about this great nation and to just have some fun. Tough economic times call for economical fun, and you cant beat Americas 391 national parks for family time, fresh air, and opportunities to learn about our great country.

The largest artifact in the National Prisoner of War Museum is the “Sack of Cement Cross†from Camp O’Donnell in the Philippines. The total height of the cross is 8 ft. The cross was built as a memorial to American prisoners who perished in the camp.Post a Countdown Widget
