Event details: Walking Event: Tony Knowles Coastal Trail - BIKE
Description
Daily 8AM - 7PM. The bike trail is rated 2-3. There are two distances to choose from - 28 or 36km. No pets. The route goes out and back on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail, a multi-use paved trail between downtown Anchorage and Kincaid Park. The trail begins just 3/4 km from the start location. The rest of the trail is free of motor vehicles and street crossings. All but the last 2km before Kincaid Park is rated a 2. The final hill climb increases the rating to a 3. The last 4km of the trail including this hill climb is optional. Bikes may be rented at the start location. Bottled water can be purchased also. Wear a helmet.
