THE MOTHER OF ALL THANKSGIVING DINNERS - Open House

location is 202 hoyt street corner of debarr and boniface west on debarr to pine right on pine left on 3rd right on hoyt end of street on left ************************************* HOSTED BY TOM SUTHERLAND - Thanks, Tom!!! ************************************* Tom has upped the limit to ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY PEOPLE (and that's his final answer... he says) and moved the start time up to 11:00am (shooting for an ending time of 9pm), allowing for more of a drop-in event for folks who have multiple events to visit on this day. Tom would welcome any and all helpers for set up early in the day, and of course clean up at the end. Please be sure to do your part, particularly if you come mid-day and are not present for the setup/cleanup portions. Let's leave Tom's house better than when we found it... and maybe he'll host us every year! :-) Please include in your RSVP what you will be bringing for the feast. Bring whatever beverage you would like to drink, plus a dish to share. We'd like to have a well-rounded Thanksgiving feast so take a look at what's been spoken for and see what you can fill in. With a large group, duplicates are welcome so each person isn't shooting to feed 75 people with their dish. We have one person who will be providing a turkey so far, but with 120 people I'd daresay we'll need at least FIVE-EIGHT turkeys, maybe a ham or two... and perhaps some non-meat main dishes for any vegetarians coming. Take a loook at this list, off the top of my head for a 'traditional' Thanksgiving dinner. But of course, feel free to make/bring whatever inspires you. Turkey Ham Mashed potatoes Sweet potatoes Stuffing Cranberry sauce Sour cream Gravy Green Beans Peas Dinner rolls Salad Tom has advised folks to pull up to the house do drop off items, then proceed to the parking area. Much as we do for the monthly potlucks, we would like to encourage everyone to bring their own plates, cups, and utensils. If you have a stash of plates, plasticwear, etc. please feel free to bring them. ALSO - if you have folding/portable chairs - PLEASE BRING THEM!! Looking forward to seeing you!
