In general After work ice skating on the new olympic size outdoor speed skating oval.... We will skate for about an hour, or more if the weather is good. Bring hats and gloves and ice skates... and good cold weather bravery FOR THOSE WHO DARE THE 20 LAP CHALLENGE !!! 20 laps around is 5 miles.....Its a great moderate workout for those who are bored with jogging at the gym or need a less strenuous weekday exercise . If you are a slower skater ..that is okay to....try making it 12 times around the oval..that is 2 1/2 miles! If you are a beginner skater...dont worry,,, you wont be left in the dust although we will always pass you..we also will always catch up to you....Thats what great about an oval!! Your goal is 4 times around as that is exactly one mile. ]How about a beer at Mooses Tooth or Bear tooth afterwards?.?.?.
