WHAT: Brisk morning walk to get a good start on the day and for those with dogs, to get Fido her/his exercise. We are walking on the multi-purpose trails or on the Single Track Advocates 'bike trails' now that the lighted trails are groomed for skiing. WHEN: 6 AM meeting. We'll keep it short enough to be gone by 7 or even a few minutes before if participants want. Be there a minute or 2 BEFORE 6 AM so we can start no later than 1-2 minutes after the hour. WHERE: Meet at the uphill end of the Abbott Road --- Lighted Loop Trails parking lot, about 1.2 miles uphill of Service High. DETAILS: - South Anch location for short, BRISK morning walk. Do not let "brisk" fool you -- come on out. We can adjust the pace as need be. - Temperature is dropping some but still do not over-dress; dress lightly &/or in layers. BRING: - Ski/ trekking poles (if you like them) - Water - Small pack to shed layers into as you warm up - Headlamp (optional and we may not ever use them, even in December but if you want it . . . .) DOGS: Dogs are OK. Be sure to bring doggie pick-up bags. There is a some chance we will encounter wildlife. A leash may be handy. CONTACT: Doug Van Etten 244-6610
