On Thursday November 27th at 19.00 hours, the internationally renowned illusionist Hans Klok helped kick-off a new annual festive Bijenkorf tradition: Turn On The Lights. With a spectacular show on the Dam square, Hans Klok warmed-up the crowd with numerous illusions from his Las Vegas Show, before igniting the 106,800 lights that decorate the monumental building.
Following the tradition of foreign warehouses, the Bijenkorf celebrates this holiday season in full luminosity and presents this spectacle as a gift to the city.
The illumination will be on view from November 27th at 19.30 hours until mid January 2009.
