From 20 december 2008 through 22 februari 2009 the Museumplein (square) will once again have a skating rink. The rink is available to skaters from 10:00 to 22:00. For those without skates, there are plenty available to rent. The skating rink, on the pond behind the Rijksmuseum, is free of charge and lit festively in the evenings.
