New York's Grizzly Bear took the indie music press by storm in 2009 with the release of their third album Veckatimest.
Pure atmospheric power
The Brooklyn four piece who move through indie-folk with dreamy harmonies reminiscent of The Beach Boys had their debut with Horn Of Plenty in 2004 with Rolling Stone saying 'The pure atmospheric power of the songs is more than enough to hypnotize.'
Yellow House
In 2006 the band recorded and released Yellow House which carried on the wistful layered yet lo-fi folk and indie pop. Off the back of this release the act performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra as well as touring with Radiohead.
Veckatimest
Considered more accessible than previous outings, Veckatimest is pure pop, with blissed out harmonies and debuted at #8 on the US Billboard Charts.
