Maker Night @ the Octagon

The Octagon is hosting this great 4 week sampling of skills and programs Ames C.art offers with a focus on fibers and drawing. The first week we are starting with knitting and crochet. Come to socialize, ask questions about your projects, work in the company of other fiber lovers, and if you are interested in learning how to knit and crochet, we will have have a few experts on hand to get you started - myself included! Thursdays, 6:30 ÂÂ- 9 pm January 7 ÂÂ- 28 (4 weeks) $5 per session at the door/$15 for all 4 dates This month, Ames C. Art will lead the group in Drawing exercises, fiber arts demos and discussions on more contemporary art forms such as creating zines.
