Johns Creek Founders Day Parade Saturday, December 5, 2009 10:00am This is our BIG chance to show the City of Johns Creek and the Residents of Johns Creek that chickens make wonderful pets! I would love to see a lot of participation from our members for this event! I will be sending in our parade application this Tuesday, October 13th. I wish that I could see their faces when they receive it! We can make this event as BIG as you (the members) want it to be. We can either walk together as a group carrying and pulling our chickens in waggons, or build an official float to ride on! I will create an official poll to let you (the members) decide on what you want to do. This will be a great way to promote the advantages of keeping backyard poultry! I encourage you to go ahead and mark your calenders for this event. I also encourage you to go ahead and RSVP so we can get an idea of how BIG you (the members) want to make this event.
