Description
The Harlem Gospel Choir is the most recognizable and renowned gospel choir in America. Founded in 1986 by Allen Bailey, it is made up of the finest singers and musicians from Harlem's black churches and the New York/Tri State area. The choir has performed for Nelson Mandella, Pope John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI, and every American president since its founding. Additionally, it has performed with America's most popular recording and performing artists and recently performed on Good Morning America's bi-coastal tribute to Michael Jackson on the day of his funeral. Don't miss this incredible, once-in-a-lifetime performance by one of America's most powerful ensembles - here in Alexandria!
