Spring for Alexandria - Business Philanthopy Summit

The Business Philanthropy Summit is a Breakfast hosted by Volunteer Alexandria to promote Philanthropy within Local businesses and for Nonprofits to introduce what they are doing in the community. The overall message is to bring nonprofits and business together in numerous capacities whether it be volunteering, donating, or serving on boards. Nonprofits are encouraged to set up tables to display are promote the work their organization is doing. There will be a guest speaker or panel of speakers follow by breakfast. The Nonprofit Leader award and Business Philanthropy Award are also presented at the breakfast. Last year we started a new tradition where guest wore blue jeans because immediately following the breakfast is a Day of Service.
