Event details: Social Media and Local Search - Online Marketing Training
Description
that will look at how to attract volunteers by strategically posting your content on popular social media
sites. The session will start with how to register with Local Search (on Google, Yahoo and others) and
will then dive into how to use online communities like Facebook, Meetup.com, and Craigslist.org to
promote your volunteer opportunities and your mission. This session will also cover video sharing
sites and event social media sites.
Participants will learn:
• What social media/Web 2.0 is and how it can help them attract volunteers
• Which social media sites to target
• How to post content on social media sites and register with local search
• Methods and tools for tracking the effectiveness of social media outreach
Cost
