Live Swing Music w/ The Big Three Trio at Nick's

Wednesday night SWING at Nick's in Alexandria! We teach two eight-week classes -- a Beginners series from 7-8 and an Intermediate course from 8-9 -- followed by a fun-filled night of dancing from 9:00-11:00pm. Also, on December 20th, 2006, we'll feature *LIVE MUSIC* with Big Joe Maher and his Big Three Trio. Big Joe is an institution in the DC music scene; he's played at just about every blues venue -- and WITH just about every blues musician -- in town. Don't miss it! Admission is a mere $10, unless you're signed up for the classes, in which case it's absolutely FREE! The best part is you don't have to have a partner to come out and have fun! Swing is a social dance, meaning every man has a chance to dance with every woman. In the course of one evening, you might get to know twenty different people... or more! And nobody is judgemental; it doesn't matter what level dancer you are, as long as you're having a good time, you'll be treated with respect and encouragement! Please note: because these are progressive courses (meaning each class builds on the earlier lessons) you must be registered for the entire series; we cannot allow drop-ins, sorry.
