Inaugural Sketch On! gathering

This first meetup is intended to get to know fellow members and to discuss meetup group goals, activities and schedules. Although actual drawing is not the main goal of this meetup, well hey! It's a food place! Candidates for a quick put together still life abound! The real purpose, however is to get to know eachother and discuss direction for this group. I have plenty of potential ideas, but suggestions and ideas, personal goals ... all those things are what we want to ensure are addressed in this group. So, please feel free to bring some things to show us... this does not have to be about the finished, all wonderful art (although we'd love to see that too).. this is about how you doodle, practice, gesture draw, life drawing sessions... the casual stuff out of your sketchpads, and the things that most interest you to draw. These are a great way to get to know each other, and an excellent way to plan how, what, where this meetup group will go.
