Description:Community Coat Drive by Sophisticated Sistahs.

Sophisticated Sistahs is a newly founded organization within the Metropolitan Area inspired by young and professional women
Under the direct leadership of Ms. Krystal Hamlet, Ms. Shandra Covington, Ms. Andrea Hartridge, Ms. Tyana Jones and Ms. LaTesha Prude.
The key components of Sophisticated Sistahs consists of 5 principles: faith, fun, female empowerment, foundation and friendship.

All 5 Principles Correspond To The Following:

-Community Service Projects
-Faith (For example: Prayer Circles)
-Fun-sleepovers, travel, parties
-Female Empowerment Programs
-Foundation-celebrating our sisterhood

And most importantly-obtaining GENUINE friendships to last for a lifetime.

Today-it is so hard to find the true meaning of sisterhood within women.
We seek to break those barriers and make our mark in society.
Just because we are women-doesnt mean we cant embrace each other in sisterhood.

Though Sophisticated Sistahs have been in existence for a short period of time. The organization takes pride in having participated in numerous events throughout the area such as: The Ronald D. Paul Companies Kidney Walk in Washington, DC.-, The Walk For Kids in Arlington, VA.-, and the AIDS Walk in Washington, DC.

Each member brings forth their time, dedication and most importantly their sisterhood.
