Weaver will explain the sculpture making and foundry process, with examples of pencil and clay sketches, an armature, a finished clay, a rubber mold, a wax, a sprued wax, an investment mold, and a bronze. Rick will give a brief technical explanation of each step and identify those points in the procedure that are most crucial to the artist in trying to turn an idea into bronze.
