Description
Closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. This Sandia Mountain Foothills Hike-A-Thon Trail has spectacular views of both the Sandia Mountains and the City of Albuquerque. On most days you'll have extended views to the west, including Mt Taylor near Grants, NM (60+ miles away), and Albuquerque's West Mesa, where ancient volcanic cones are visible.
