Explora Theater presents the full length play, Radium Girls by D.W. Gregory. Told with warmth and humor, this is the story of five young women who challenged the U.S. Radium Corporation in court in the 1920's. The court battle of Grace Fryer, a radium dial painter, paved the way for increased worker's rights. The play is directed by Bethany Welt and partially funded by the Urban Enhancement Trust Fund of the City of Albuquerque.
