Opera Southwest's Pre-Puccini Seminar

Prior to OSW's production of the Puccini double-bill, Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicchi later in March at the NHCC, we are pleased to offer a pre-opera seminar, "Laughter and Tears", a discussion of the musical and theatrical genius of composer Giacomo Puccini and two of his one-act operas Saturday, March 17 at Covenant Presbyterian Church from 10 a.m. until noon. Joining David Bartholomew, Director of Artistic Operations, and Kristen Barrett, Guest Stage Director, will be Ms. Cori Ellison, regular commentator and Opera Quiz panelist on Metropolitan Opera radio broadcasts.
