    It says in one of the state fair ads closed mon and tues. Does that mean the entire fair? I have never been to the NM state fair but being closed just doesn't make sense. Do the vendors just go home for a few days or what.

The fairgrounds, located in the heart of Albuquerque, is the home of approximately 525 vendors during the annual state fair. Our vendors provide an abundance of distinctive foods and unique products for over 700,000 New Mexicans and visitors to enjoy.
