Jigu! will exhibit Chinese drumming culture at Popejoy Hall for one powerful performance.
Since Jigu! Thunder Drums of China was founded in 1988, the troupe has excelled at performing a blend of traditional and modern musical elements. The show combines history and artistry into a one-of-a-kind performance. The Chinese word jigu means "to beat or touch the drum," and the performers of Jigu! do just that in this explosive experience. The dynamism achieved by the many performers moving as a single unit proves to be a hair-raising experience!
