History Sticks To Your Feet Trail Run

We will be trail running on Stephen Ausherman's Mars Court Hike (#13) , from his book "60 Hikes within 60 miles of Albuquerque". This run will be about 9.2 miles of running. The first mile has a few short rocky sections, but after that it's some sweet single track and fire roads. Remeber trail equals dirt which equals fun. So dress for the conditions, bring some water, a snack, and bear spray plus all the necessary running gear you might want to carry. This event will take place rain, snow, wind, high tide, sun or even if we are invaded by moths. We will meet at the Smith parking lot and carpool up to the trail head. IN BRIEF Tucked away in a far corner of the Manzanita Mountains, a well-marked network of single tract and former logging roads winds across canyon meadows and forested ridges.
