KIDS! Holiday Bird Count

Bring your family along on this birding adventure. Learn birding basics, view our wonderful winter birds and explore new areas of the preserve. We'll begin at 9:30 am in the Discover Center with an introduction to birding, followed by small group expeditions. Some groups may need to caravan to their trailheads. The morning will wrap-up back at the Discovery Center around 11:30 am with a quick tally and snack. Bring your own Binoculars or use ours. The program will include hiking over rolling topography so wear good hiking shoes. Also, dress for the weather as we'll be outside for an hour. Location: Albany Pine Bush Discovery Center, 195 New Karner Road Fee: $2 per person/$5 per family/Children under 5 yrs free. Registration is required.
