"lap it up" happy hour- Support The Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society

The Berkeley-East Bay Humane society has a monthly event fundraiser. It is a good way to support the organization, while providing a little social time. In the early hours of May 20, 2010, the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society (BEBHS) suffered a tragic fire which destroyed much of the building. Although they are able to continue some services, their shelter and hospital remain closed until further notice. They are currently at work on resuming operations and developing a comprehensive rebuilding plan. They need all the financial support they can get to rebuild. "Lap It Up" Happy Hour: Happens the first Monday of every month from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at The Layover: 1517 Franklin Street, Oakland. BEBHS will receive 10% of the total bar sales between 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
